Join Us in Celebration: The 72nd District Assembly of the Church of the Nazarene
We warmly invite members and friends of the Church of the Nazarene to our 72nd District Assembly. This year, we gather under the theme “Behold, I Am Doing a New Thing!” (Isaiah 43:19), reflecting on the ways God is renewing, restoring, and leading His church forward.
As we come together in Megain, Belfast, we do so with expectation and anticipation, celebrating the work of God in our district and beyond. We are especially delighted to welcome Rev. Mark and Linda Louw, our Regional Director, along with Rev. Antonie Holleman, Northern European Field Strategy Coordinator. We are also honoured to have Dr. Carla Sunberg, General Superintendent, and her husband, Rev. Chuck Sunberg joining us once again.
Below, you will find the detailed schedule of the weekend, along with essential documents related to our business sessions. Whether you are engaging in the governance of our church, eager to participate in worship, or looking forward to the fellowship of our community, this assembly is where we come together in unity and celebration.
Come, be a part of this important occasion as we seek God’s new work among us!

Worship and Fellowship
We are excited to have Dr Carla Sunberg with us for our assembly. She, along with our District Supertendent, Rev Ruth Turner, will be speaking to us over the weekend.
NMI Lunch
As part of the District Assembly weekend, we invite you to join us for a special NMI Lunch on Saturday, 15th March, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM in the Back Hall of Megain Nazarene Church. This will be an opportunity to gather as a community, share a meal, and reflect on the impact of Nazarene Missions International. We are pleased to welcome Diane Robbins, Regional NMI Coordinator, who will explore the question, “Is NMI making a difference?” A simple lunch of soup and sandwiches will be provided, with a suggested donation of £3. We encourage all those with a heart for missions to attend this meaningful conversation as we consider how NMI continues to serve and support the church globally.
